For those looking to find an easygoing atmosphere to hang out after work on Fridays, Dublin’s Tram Café is hoping to provide the spot.

Every Friday, the Wolfe Tone Square venue will present a musical performance by The Café Duo, a vocal/guitar pair consisting of Juan Pablo Mejia and Jonathan Batista.

Hailing from Spain and Brazil respectively, The Café Duo merge their musical and cultural roots to create a blend of bossa nova, soul and jazz. Performing the sounds of Sao Paulo, Madrid and New York, they can be described as a combination of jazz musicians like Wes Montgomery and Chet Baker.

The Café Duo will perform Fridays at 5.30pm and admission is free, though spaces are limited.

The Tram Café is a restored, antique tram that provides an intimate venue with an open roof for musical performances.
