Have you got a bestseller up your sleeve? If you’re a writer looking for a literary agent and lots of sound advice on getting your book into print, put Date With An Agent 2018 and the associated Getting Published Conference in your diary now.

The International Literature Festival Dublin and Writing.ie are inviting top literary agents and London publishers to Smock Alley Theatre on Saturday 26 May to explain exactly how the publishing industry works, and what you need to do to make it work for you.

Send us sample of your work before the closing date of Monday 26 March and you could be selected to participate in an intimate workshop with an agent specialising in your genre.

Twenty-five chosen writers will win the chance to discuss their manuscripts in one-on-one sessions with a respective agent from a list including Simon Trewin of WME, Ivan Mulcahy, children’s fiction specialist Julia Churchill, Piers Blofeld of Sheil Land, and Tanera Simons of Darley Anderson.
