Immigrants’ information day in Balbriggan

Advice on citizenship applications and voter registration will be available

IMMIGRANTS living in the Balbriggan area are being invited to an information morning next Wednesday, where workshops on citizenship applications, Irish-born child regulations and voter registration will be held.  

According to the Fingal Leadership Partnership, the specific topics under examination are: the Immigration, Residency and Protection Bill 2008; applying for Irish citizenship; an update for parents of Irish-born children; and voter registration for the 2009 local elections.

A new local support service, Fáilte (welcome) Balbriggan, will also be the subject of discussion

The information morning takes place on Wednesday 14 January, 10am-1pm at the Combined Clubs, Dublin St, Balbriggan.
